Both, not playing Saturday.

Team almost picks itself now

McCunnie in at right back, Sweeney to right midfield.

Who partners Porter is anyone's guess, mind you we may go 4-5-1 and play Porter on his own.

so you would both put a kid with no experience in an important game against blokes who will kick shit out of him? Its brave i will give you that.
From what i have seen of him he looks an excellent prospect but one who needs a lot of beefing up first

Or it could be a great learning curve. You aren't allowed to kick the shit out of people on a football field anymore, it's barely even a contact sport these days. What makes you think Fleetwood's players are experienced? He's got to be blooded at some stage I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be Saturday.

Also... who else have we got?

if he's any good, then this should be the perfect stage for him.

So what if fleetwood players kick him, we'll get a free kick, then another then another, a great baptism fire.

you have obviously seen more of him than me mr mj. I just think we need more experienced heads in that position for this game. But seeing as liddle keeps being negative you might just be right.

I thought Kyle wasn't cup-tied. Mega wages and we can't play him in the cup. Monkhouse and Porter up front for me

Barratt
Humps Clark Nelson Liddle
Robson Jones Rowell Sweeney
Porter Monkhouse

Its easy.

We should piss all over Fleetwood with the players we have at our disposal. No excuses, the team picks itself.

Robson and Humphreys on the right? Liddle and Sweeney on the left? Or did you mean the other way around? Monkhouse up front might work, but we should avoid square pegs in round holes you have to play Mackay really I don't think he's good enough at League One level but we are playing a Blue Square North team. We should still have enough if we apply ourselves properly.

Yep. No disrespect to Fleetwood but Rowell will piss all over their midfielders if picked.

Fabian Delph scored against us for Leeds last week. He's just turned 19 and is a couple of months younger than Rowell. The lad who scored MK's third was only 17. Northampton put a 15-year-old on as sub against us last season. I don't see the point of NOT giving a talent like Rowell a chance. He might not make an instant impact, but you have to give him the opportunity.

Shame you're not DW though innit, cos he's a narrow minded cluelesscunt.

You all seem to be forgetting that Wilson can't see past Foley.

Actually, thinking about it, Foley scores the odd goal in cup games, he seems to play well for the ressies against weaker opposition. It might not be such a bad thing. :uhoh: :uhoh: stpid

You're right.

Foley will play on Saturday and he'll score. That'll guarantee him a place in the starting line up til about February during which time he won't score again and will be about as effective as he was on Tuesday night.

Oh bugger.

I remember the Tamworth manager said, when he saw three youth team players in the team, 'we can win this, just lean on them....'

The thing with Foley is that he has bags of skill but gets kicked to bits. When Pools play classy teams he does well. When we play lower league teams he gets knocked about and looks like he's not performing. This is why he has done well in the cup against higher league teams.

I reckon he would do well in the championship but very badly in the Darlo league.

I hope foley dont start but i must say he does look better when actually upfront which is his position instead of right wing. Plus its acup game so he will probabaly score.
