but I could quite happily fast forward today's distraction from the rest of our proper season, let's face it games at Leeds and Leicester aren't proper games for Pools, because we've no chance of winning them. Give me the games we can win any day, starting with next week, a game I'm really looking forward to.
Today is just a write off

its unreal isn't it, they sign Malcolm Christie as McCallister thinks the he will add good competition to the other FOUR strikers.

and looking at their forward line there should be NO WAY on earth we could compete over a season with them

agreed, they're on a different planet to us resource-wise. If we do anything but get a heavy defeat at a place like that we've done well.

I've got a mate here, Celtic supporter from Leith, which makes him a rarity anyway, but a football fan and a knowledgeable one.

Well I fed him a few Monkey Business's and he caught a mild bug and looks out for us, and he said today, we'd get nowt.

We both agreed on why.

The ref will give us nowt. He daren't in front of a big crowd like that. So when Keith Hackett starts spouting off, let's just tell him that referees are cowards eh??

After all, that's why they take the job.

officials are indeed 50% of the problem when we get beat. The ref there last season when Orient played them was an utter disgrace to the game of football
