IS anyone else thinking that everyone is getting a bit excited over nothing at the minute?? i mean we have played 2 below average sides in last 2 games who are as poor as us recently, and if it wasnt for shite defending from both sides then the games would of been awful for entertainment value.
I think Wilson needs to sort this mess out or get out personally, he has been at the club for well over a year now and there seems to be more problems now than when he took over, yes we are scoring lots but against good teams we are going to be made a laughing stock if this all carries on. Our defence is awful and all Wilson wants to do is spend money getting strikers in and doesnt seem to worry about the defence, which showed when ben clark went over to him in tuesdays game and looked as if he was telling him to put him back in defence to sort things out and shore it up a bit. he plays too many players out of position for my liking. he has had money to spend but just hasnt spent it wisely.

I think if it carries on then we should get rid of wilson and stick turner back in charge as in all fairness he has been our most successful manager of the last 10 years and is already in a role at the club so can be done easily, he will sort out the mess and bring in new players in the right positions and get us playing good football but at the same time be a hard team to beat and not leak so many silly goals in every game? BRING BACK TURNER AND WEST!!!!!

i can't see Turner wanting the job unless it was just a stop gap appointment

my opinion is i disagree with what you say.

you assume wilson hasnt bothered sorting the defense out when he most probably is trying to sort it out as we speak and has been doing so for the last few weeks. i agree it should have been done in the summer however. you say all wilson wants to do is spend money on strikers. load of rubbish. he quite rightly identified that barker was passed it and got rid and brought a new and better player in. it needed doing. its not that he saw it as a priority over sorting the defense, its that it has come to fruition first. we WILL see a new defender this season i am sure of it. his hands look to be tied with the keeper situation and will have to loan one out before being able to replace.

all in all he is somewhat lucky to still be manager at pools but he has already identified the weaknesses and looks to be at least TRYING to sort them which is the main thing. he isnt going anywhere in the near future so lets just hope he can bring in a couple of players and hopefully push for a top half finish at the very least

I think Ian Butterworth gets off very lightly. He's payed well as well as Wilson and he was a top centre back, surely he should be working with the back four constantly. He must be as an ex defender embarrassed by what is going on.
