Why the fook does Wilson play him in midfield, can't he see how much in weakens the team? How can he even consider playing him as part of a three in midfield like he did yesterday? Does he not realise this is why for the last fifteen minutes we got overrun and outplayed by ten men!? We were still outnumbered by Oldham's four in midfield, mind i'm not surprised they improved once that hopeless clogger was sent off.

The lad is a striker STOP playing him right midfield it NEVER works!!

He wasn't useless when he played up front against West Brom and has always scored his fair share at reserve and youth level as a forward. Look I know you can't polish a turd but constantly playing the lad of position is doing him or the team no favours.

Constantly playing him at all is doing the team no favours.

he brilliantly set up an Oldham attack yesterday better than all their midfielders put together - he turned inside and with Sweeney and Liddle bombing forward for a real chance at their goal - Foley played the ball behind them both FFS.
Now, I might be missing something here, but is it not better to play the ball forward into the path of one of those players running onto it?
As a bonus for Oldham, that pass took two players out of the game completely.

Thats the whole point of the argument...playing him is doing no one any favours in any position. He simply is not good enough, end of story, finito,a dead weight an insult to football.Other than that he has my total support. bbolt

I cannot realistically see the day when he'll be first on the team sheet as a striker ...or midfielder ....... and that's the trouble.
