Have you seen the film of his life?

I made the mistake of watching the pish take version of it about a week before, didn't really sit the same after that as i was thinking of the funny one liners in the comedy version.

What a great night that was - checking Ceefax every ten minutes to find the scoresheet grow so large they had to go to another page.

Must be in my top 10 moments as a Pools fan - and Marco Gabbiadini scored that day, I'd never fought see the once great-Loid score in the Pools shirt !

A serious question Mr Kent, not having a go just curious as I know you are a young lad who lives miles away, have you ever been to the Vic?

Yep,I heard the news about Johnny Cash as I was parking my car to go into the game.

I had been in Edinburgh the night before watching Spiritualized & my mate decided when we got home that he was too tired to go to the footy stpid

Yes, once in October Half Term 2001 - came up for a couple of days and did the tourist sites (Trincomalee, Marina, Seaton Carew, Dad's Old House) and went to my first ever Pools home game - lost 1-0 to Oxford, Dad wrote off to Pools to get us a PA announcement done over the tannoy.

More recently, I went up for the Leeds home game on Boxing DAY 2007, went with my Leeds supporting uncle (born in Hartlepool), sat in the Mill House stand, he celebrated their equaliser whilst standing in the Mill House.

We were checking Ceefax that night because we couldn't listen to the game for some reason.

That Oxford game would be in the top five worst games I've ever seen, Paul Moody scored the winner from about twenty yards if I remember correctly.

Yeah, that's right, nothing in it and then he popped up from nowhere to score - only time we've lost to Oxford in the modern before they departed the League, any other time, we beat them.
