Do so called fans feel the need to post threads moaning about a result, whilst admitting they were at the match.

At least read posts from people who attended the game and see what they have to say.

Posts stating glad I didnt go (tree with hamster) are of no relevance to anyone.

I will listen to him or anyone else who gives an opinion from what they have seen at the match. His so called opinion is based on something, what that is only he knows.

My opinion , which others may agree or disagree with is base on the fact that I have watched 80 of the last 80 competitive games. If counted right. The last game I having missed being Mansfield away on January 1st 2007. I not bragging there. It just gets my back up when people have a go without being able to get off their a*** to watch a home game.

wilson wasnt playing

he never gave up

they stepped up a huge gear when they came out for the second half and throughout the half after the ineffective power and foley were replaced we made mistakes. he realised very early (for him) that power was pants and old father time is calling foley. the only possible sign if submission was taking brown of who looked very comfortable last night but barker needs fitness and a run out for the longer term.

they were decent but we helped them look better

Genuine question here, with Andy King, Paul Dickov and Matty Fryatt in there, did we ever look like we had a realistic chance?? When people say 'stepped up a gear' it always gives me the impression that the opposition hasn't got another gear in 'em.

Eh?

So are you suggesting Katcha wants one of them to get injured to give Barker more games?

Sorry John, but your post makes no sense to me.

Your missing the point Nobody. He simply means that we may as well get Barker match fit in a meaningless game for if we need him. Either when he comes on as sub or if a striker gets injured.

Someones missing the obvious here. Aren't you Fatty?? In the eventuality that one of them gets injured, which has happened to both in the recent past, for long periods, we have to field a replacement, roger so far?? So in a daft (and I know thats a second argument) cup competition, the opportunity to keep a player match fit, one who has scored off the bench in the last two games, is an opportunity which presents an advantage. Bringing him out of reserve football does not present that advantage.

we were outclassed - they have a terriffic array of midfielders and strikers - I don't see the point in dissecting last night's match because HUFC will never be able to compete long term against clubs like Leicester. Their time in this league will be brief - I can't believe they won't just beat teams down here week in week out, they'll hammer most of 'em if they play like that.
Pools have got to get on with the business of beating the other teams in this league, I'm not worried about losing to Leicaester with a line up which included inexperienced centre midfielder and an awful awful player such as Foley, because quite honestly what else could we expect?
No matter what changes Leicester made, there was always going to be quality on the pitch and on the bench. You simply don't get to sign for a club like that in the first place unless you are good enough.
Every one of their team and subs would get in our side - but how many Pools players would be good enought to sign for them?
I'm really not going to let last night cloud my view of what we should be expected to do this season - there's plenty others we can beat home and away, its just that based on last night Leicester won't be one of them!!!

power looks to be in very poor shape for a professional footballer.

You have got to ask if he cant keep himself in shape at his young age, then what chance does he have later on?
