"The only difference with mine was I had a customer to serve as well as a telephone call to take. It is very frustrating."

Why should a customer and/or a telephone call take precedence over breaking the law??

Traffic wardens are worse than 'smack heads' ...... got them on mopeds in Hull so they can get back on the bike and bolt before they get their heads kicked in!

I trust you are all aware that they now descend on the Mill House car park at 3pm on matchdays. You dont see them for dust before that though.

I hate the bounders. How can anyone want to be a bastad traffic warden.

No you don't.

Get over the anger. You'll become a happier person for it.

They've done the poor bastard on a technical offence. If he has a business there he should be able to carry out his business. Fuck the council and their parking restrictions. The wankers will be making more than enough out of him in business rates as it is - a disgusting state of affairs.
This is not law breaking, it's a breach of rules set up by local government dictators.
Some folks' idea of "law" certainly doesn't coincide with mine.

Bollox, what the hell is a technical offence? How is it different to an offence.

Rules are rules, he broke them. No sympathy here either.

He choose to answer the phone and serve a customer over abiding by the law of the land. If he doesn't like the laws of this country, he could always live in a different one. The fact he was one minute over his allowed time means nothing, if the phone call had of gone on longer or the customer had taken longer, he would have been longer over his time.

Does that mean its okay to quickly answer a phone call when your driving a two tonne ranger rover sport whilst doing just over the speed limit outside a school???

He broke the law and should accept his punishment, I have no time for lawbreakers.

Incidentally, that mate of mine from Lithuania is never borrowing my car ever again. He again got a speeding ticket (2nd time) in my car. I now have to complete the paperwork, return it to the Police with a copy of his driving licence and insurance which luckily I have copies of. I wish he didn't look a bit like me on the photo though.

It's a shame they don't have an agreement with the Lithuanian authorities for fines and points to be transferred there. I just hope they extradict him back here to pay the fine!

let's agree to disagree then eh? Like I said, what is "law" in cases like this is just to make money, end of.
Where did I mention speeding past schools? How can that be compared to running 1 minute over the time limit for parking? People wonder why businesses struggle, and folks end up losing their livelihoods.

Now let's think how it would be if there were no traffic wardens.... there'd be a fookin free for all, people would park just where they want.. there'd be chaos and driving would be a nightmare as everywhere would be choked with parked cars, including the pavement... but let's not let the prejudice get in the way......it's a shit job but somebody does have to do it
