I am.

I actually had a dream about the match last night. The game kicked off at 9-30 for some reason (possibly crowd congestion  )

It finished 5-2 to WBA.

Haven't decided yet. Hols in a couple of weeks, trying to do some last minute saving. Will probably decide at about 6.30 tomorrow night.

£20 to get in the CKS why do the club do this every fooking time. I have also noticed Boro's prices are £13 and £7 on the same night. come on pools get a full house and start looking at your prices. sctatchinghead

Rumour has it WBA have sold there allocation and have also taken the kids section of the CKS so if that's true theres approx 1200 start.

I hope they have, but I find it hard to believe, they only half filled the Rink end last time, but my mate told me that when he went for his normal tickets in the CKS he couldn't have them for the above said reason sctatchinghead

more bollox no doubt. when has plod EVER allowed away fans anywhere other than the rink end.

west brom wouldnt take 1500 to old trafford let alone pools.

Nice one Mr Chip Fireball, I'd have been dissapointed if you hadn't had a dig, thankfully I didn't believe what I was told either, but Thought I'd post it anyway cos I thought posting nonsense was what we 'bunkerites' are encouraged to do sctatchinghead

My memory is obviously not to your standard but didn't Preston take the full Mill House terracing not that long ago (not that long ago is obviously open to question) in one of the mickey mouse cups northern semi finals. Sure Mr Mad John will confirm.

It was a League match.

The Cup Match I know for a fact I was stood on the Mill House Terrace, as I had to leap the fence at the back to escape the rampaging PNE fans when they attacked us.

if it's any consolation Mr Elvis, their main squad took a paggering after the match down Raby Road and Avenue Road (ask the then landlord of the Mill House, Mr N.) They tried to get into the pub, but the lads in there and from Joe Pools gave them a right rogering!!!

I also thought it was further back. I'd have said 20 years ago so I'm glad Elvis has cleared that up a bit. The 1996 seemed a bit too recent, but it was definitely Gary Peters in charge of PNE, and the attendance v PNE was double anything else we got that season.

Maybe I have stronger memories of the 1987 game, and that's why I thought 20 years ago. Maybe that was the first time the opposition had the MHT and so it stuck in the memory more confised
..and not forgetting a certain Andy Saville was playing for them after leaving here.

I was on about the league match when I typed that last thing - I don't remember any shananigans in the Freight Rover thing like, I buggered off by the time we were 2-0 down in injury time!!!!

i cant recall a single game in the last 20 odd years when away fans have been allocated home territory at the vic. the game mr elvis mentions rings a bell.

there have been instances of a handful of rogue elements gaining access to home areas.

a handful of hull fans in the town end 6 or 7 years ago got a kicking.

prior to that the last instance i can recall off the top of my head were 2 dozen or so cardiff fans in the mill house seats ( top corner nearest the rink end ) and that must have been a long time ago as i remember them ripping out seats.

Seem to remember someone being allocated the section of Mill House seats at the rink end end of the ground once over.

Cardiff were in the seats towards the Town End.

Yup again. Carlisle got the last section of the Mill House seats, nearest the Rink End, for an FA Cup game. The rules in the Cup are different, we had to give them 1200 if I recall.[/quote]

Didn't the Loids get the same when they beat us in the cup? Seem to remember it kicking off behind the MH Stand at half time, with the temporary fence going down.

preston didnt get an allocation in the pools part of the ground.

and the lads from cardiff that ripped seats out and chucked them at pools fans on the mill house terrace were :

a) in a part of the ground allocated to pools fans.

b) at the top of the corner of the mill house seats nearest to the town end. my mistake, i should remember as one of the seats hit me and nearly broke my jaw.

i dont have a memory like mr elvis im afraid. mines all fuzzy round the edges.

but anyone who genuinely thought west brom were bringing 1200 plus fans on tuesday needs their head examining.

Well that's strange, cos me, Mr Evis, Mr Mad John and Mr Mutley reckon Preston were allocated the Mill House Terrace. clappp

I never mentioned the Cardiff fans been allocated Mill House seats, merely pointing out to you where they were located. clappp

I think the only 2 people who believed WBA where bringing 1200 was the woman in the ticket office and my mate who she wouldn't sell his tickets to because of that very reason. Certainly not I Mr Chip clappp

I'd just got back from a gentle jog around Greenwich Park, to the hotel nearby where I was staying for the weekend, when I heard that Lincoln had been relegated. I was running the London Marathon the following day, and a coach load of us from Billingham Marsh House Harriers were staying close to the start. A few of us had done a couple of 'easy' miles, to prepare for the 26.2 the next day, and as we got back someone else was leaning out of a bedroom window, and told us the team, if I remember correctly, least likely of the ones who could have been relegated, had gone down.
