Now I know I typed S O C C E R am not football. And it shows when I try to edit it to S O C C E R Guess the administrators have made sure we never use an americanism for our glorious game. Cant blame them, they to egotistical for me.

Depends on the type of footwear I got on. Not sure if the 8 inch stiletto thigh high boots be any good for it.

football is not an Americanism but some people just won't accept that no matter how !many times you show them where the word came from.

In fact, I'd say back in the magic Watty Moore days we called it football more often than we did footy when the Yanks didn't even know what it was.

I know football not an americanism I was asking if filter had been put on to stop us calling it S O C C E R as it changed S O C C E R to football the proper name for it.

I will never pretend Im Pools "best fan" all fans are important to the club, and always will be. I may wind mates I go with when they miss a game as they will when I miss one. But at the end of the day a fan is a fan and their money, when they have it, is as good as mine to the club. We are in this together.

The advantage I have over other's on Saturday is that Sky tv pay me to get to London and then take me to Millwall afer putting me up in a hotel. Making it almost a home game as far as cost is concerned as I only have to fork out for few beers saturday night and once at Millwall, if time.Having said that I had already purchased a cheap return ticket so someone who couldnt afford the travel gets that at the cost I paid for it. And I have couple people intersted but if all falls through then expect it to go on here

Im going on tv to look an idiot, it appears you can do it anywhere, probably even in an empty room.

I would take you anywhere twice, the 2nd time to apologise for you. rolfl rolfl

Didn't Von Rarnish take a tenner from Mark Crossley as well, I am fairly sure that he mentioned it in the pub after he had been on sctatchinghead

Indeed tis true. There are some words you just can't say. Proper use of the swear filter in my opinion.

S0ccer is impossible to write (unless you use coding)
0lympics is another one - it comes out completely different - try it.

There are a few others Americanisms but not too many, we didn't want to upset Cousin Earl (Ginger Poolie). Don't forget to kick the cow shit off your shoes before you come in.
