Of course they're taking the piss.

Why would you need five razor blades on one shaver thingy anyway?

What'll be next?

A great big two handed thing with two dozen blades that does both sides of your face at once?

Leccy razor'll do for me ta, quicker and cheaper- and when you're as good looking as me you don't need to worry about fancy Gillettes and moisturiser anyway.

that's about the size of it. They're all security protected to the hilt now, obviously a target for shoplifters. No wonder at those prices.

i don't get this 5 blade malarkey, surely it just means that the first blade gets blunt first thus rendering the whole expense pointless?

And if they get "progressively closer" then why not just have 1 blade at the closest any of the 5 get?

they also have a normal single blade on the reverse for "more precision"...............hmmmmmm.......I think they could be onto something there!!!

As an aside, I had a one of those quattro things (I can't afford the Audi version), and while I was trying to get a hair on my ear I sliced me lug with the blade on the other side!!!

Grow a beard, man. Save money and be lazy (like me :uhoh: ). Now that you are a born again biker it will go with the image. Here is an example modelled by Dumpy from Dumpys Rusty Nuts

By the way, when I saw you in your leathers at Peterborough earlier I thought I'd gone to the wrong venue and was at Peterborough showground for the Speedway.

There was a Top Tip in Viz some years ago which went something like:

"Disposable razor blade manufacturers - save costs by only including the closest blade which does the shaving, and dispense with the extra gimmicky ones. The costs savings can be passed on to the consumer."
