Not for me Mr Jockthemonkey, I'd rather get into last 16, or even further, then another home draw against a decent side on the tele.

Remember Villa and Blackburn, that Villa home game was one of the best clappp

We have not been beyond the fourth round but we have been in it. I clearly remember the Hartlepool flag being taken to Wembley as one of the last sixteen in the competition. I think the Villa game was in the Fourth round.

Don't believe I'm contradicting Mr Mad on stats bbolt

In the 3rd round that year we had a cracking game against top of the league & unbeaten at home Blackburn Rovers. This was the 1st ever away game I was allowed to go to with my mates. Barry Watling saved a penalty and we went on to win 2 -1. The coach I was on traveled home with only 4 or 5 windows left in it, them Rovers fans didn't like getting beat.

A great night and our reward was a great home tie with Villa.
