To find ourselves in every Sunday paper on top of the league. Yes , I know it's only 1 game but it sure makes the paper's more fun to read.

We now need to play a settled team hopefully put some sort of run together, just staying undefeated will do, I not after 10/11 straight victories but just some sort of run to get confidence high.

Yesterday was a superb all round team performance, and although we wont get that high a standard for the whole 46 games in the league even half as good could see us beating the teams who will have a poor season.

We still need a little more depth on the bench, Barker Power were there yesterday and they can change a game if necessary but Im not certain(well I am actually) that Foley and Robson wont. Add Clark to it and we have a player that can come on and help us defend a 1-0 lead away from home, something we failed to do on numerous occassions last season. McCunnie isn't bad cover for right back from the bench, Power would be my midfield choice from there.Rowel there when injuries/suspensions hit us. But just 1 or 2 reasonable signings, nothing much can in my opinion and most other's ,I would think give us a real chance to push on from yesterday.

Let's puch on Tuesday night play the same team hopefully get through get some sort of decent 2nd round tie, make some money and use it to strengthen. We need a cup run so lets not send out reserves etc lets go for it, that applies to the JPT as well what a way to celebrate 100 years a day at Wembley in that final. Wishful thinking I know, but Im forever an optimist.

I thought the same yesterday, it would be a good opportunity to start Power and give Boland the night off, I can also see Barker, Robson and McCunnie starting as well in place of Porter, Monkhouse and one of Sweeney, Liddle or Jones

If it's the Observer it will be a mis-print.
