Yup. I like the idea of playing these teams Early Doors, especially with Scunthorpe coming in midweek in the CC. It'll give us a very early indication of what's expected. Funny, I don't think Col U will be up to much tomorrow..dunno why like!

Lets hope they aren't. They have spent almost £750,000 over the summer though apparently so I don't think they'll be a pushover...

They are missing that Perkins lad who they paid a lot of money for from Rochdale, he looked a good player against the Lampies during the play offs, he is still suspended due to getting that ridiculous red card against them

Considering the following:

2004 Bradford

I think not.

What has happened since last since to suggest Pools will make the play offs?

What happend in the 2004 close season to suggest Luton would romp away with the title?
Sometimes random things like this happen for a combination of reasons no one can put their finger on.

Funnily enough, Dibbs, the only pre-season we were convinced we were going to take this division by storm, complete with concrete reasons, was ... ???

It'll take time for them to gel!

PS, Ash has just e-mailed me...asking "Should I Back Pools For The Play-Offs?!"

Well personally I think we will be mid-table. We live in hope though - we might get off to a good start and get our confidence up. We certainly have the players to do it...as for Ash's team, I still don't think they will get out of League One next season

One good reason why we'll be better is Elliot won't be at full back. Antwi won't be at centre half could be another. A third one could be that Danny might banghead play our best available team each week. Our away form can only get better. We could have the dream strike partnership all the experts have been calling for.......Porter and Brown. Budtz kept away from the first team. Liddle or Sweeney proving to be a better right back than...erm...all the other buggers he tried there ( including Gibb, Antwi). The absolute coup de resistance might be that Foley proves to be a wonderful right winger. Ok, I'll stop there :uhoh:. How many do you want, Dibbsy??

I'll tell you why they won't be up to much tomorrow...........because the fire alarms will be going off twice tonight and the kitchen porter is going to shit in their curry ! rolfl
