HUFC Site reporting Humphries and Sam Collins to share the captaincy.

What's up with that ?

I remember when Chester City had an American manager who brought in an idea from American Football and had an Offensive Captain, a Midfield Captain and a Defensive Captain.

Thought it was a crazy idea at the time. We're not American, we're British.
It soon backfired on him - Chester were relegated and he was sacked.

but it's nothing like that,

humps has been our team captain whilst Barron has been the club captain for a good few years now. Hardly a new concept!

It seems like a fart on to me, just have a captain and a vice captain.

Richie looks lean and thin in that picture like.

This could be a very good move...............time will tell.
It will probably be seen as Wilson 'tinkering' again.
Ritchie does look a bit slimmer than usual.
Like Madjohn suggests, who will be the other first choice central defender.

True, but whenever Barron played he had the captains armband. This is basically saying that on the pitch Collins will be captain whether Ritchie is playing or not. Like everyone else seems to be thinking, I am taking this as meaning that Collins is pretty much guaranteed a place whereas Humphreys isn't.

As long as Clark plays I don't care whether Collins or Nelson plays. I hope Ben is never left out because of some captaincy protocol issue.
