If you and your Family are doing nowt on Saturday, why not pop along to West Hartlepool Rugby Club on Catcote Road, for a action packed Fun Day in support of the "Kay Smith Fund".
In 2 1/2 years we have raised nearly 80,000 pounds for the Hartlepool Hospice, and the Breast Cancer research team, thanks to the good people of Hartlepool.
Kay sadly died at the age of 37, and having worked with her for a number of years, her final wish was to help other people in the same situation, she found herself in.
From Noon on Saturday in brilliant sunshine (Fingers Crossed) we have.
Bungee jumping (180ft!!) so far around 40 signed up!( Min 50 quid) if yer up for it!
Watch 6 Live Bands whilst having a beer or Two!
Tug Of War Comp (Team of 5, Winners win 50 Quid)
Win A Brand New Renault Clio Car On The Day!
Face Painting
Kiddies Rides
Beat The Keeper
Fire Engine (Fetish Bob??)
Police Car
Mounted Police
Dog Section Show
Sea Cadets
Throw The Wellie The Furthest
Bat The Rat
Stalls, Refreshement Etc, Etc, Etc

Please pop along, Admission is FREE, and help support the "Kay Smith Fund"

Cheers

By The Way, I`m a Pools Fan, and fecking hate Rugby!!, but the venue, and being along one of the busiest Roads in the Town, made it a decent venue to be noticed, and hopefully pack the crowds in!
Will we beat last Sundays attendance at The Vic???????????

That opening post is more publicity and details alone than Pools gave for their Centenery tournament.

And to get back on topic, I may well pop along.

Sounds like a good idea, walk to there and have a wander around then have a walk on to The Woodcutter, Greensides etc.

Hmmm.

Travelling to Rotherham then ??

Billingham Poolies might pop over, as our eldest who has written for MB and the Rivals site is a local reporter for the Northern Echo web site. He could probably do a report on the various activities.

That probably depends upon what time she starts drinking.

Class day out. I'd been bragging how easy it would be to do a bungee jump and, as luck would have it, a girl I know bottled her jump and offered her place to me. I've never been so nervous in my life, I had white shorts on and I was worried about shitting myself on the way down! Very good fun though, I'd definitely do it again. Good turnout and all which was a plus.
