Location: Probably in The Mowbray Pub, like.
After adding Jones and Cook, how many signings do you think we need before we're ready for the new season?

Probably - for me at least - another two defenders and a striker.

And I'm still not convinced about our keepers.



More specifically - who do you want bringing in?

A proper right back, a proper left back and a forward for me. A right winger would be nice but not essential if we get those three.

Barker, Porter and who? Mackay might work out. I have no faith in Foley. If we are gonna have Browny as our other forward we would then need a right winger would we not? Unless he sees Sweeney playing there regularly?

PS. Personally I would be happy with Sweeney as our right winger and Porter, Brown and Barker taking turns up top. I worried when I heard DW harking on about how well Sweeney played at right back though.

I wouldn't mind giving 3-5-2 a bash, with Sweeney and Humps as wing backs, if we are not going to sign specialist full backs that is.

I don't think we'll be signing any Full Backs after reading what the management team were saying last week about our Midfielders been able to play all over the shop!!!! confised confised

Except for this original post nobody seems to have mentioned a goalkeeper. I agree raicase, I'm not convinced about our first choice keeper either. This lad Cook is untried and unlikely to be our first choice and as for the two we had in last year, neither were good enough. It affected our whole defence and ultimately the entire team, so this position is critical :!:

I still like the look of ALB and think that with a settled run in the team he'll prove that we have no need for another keeper.

I would rather DW played himself in goal before ever giving Janice Cockfingers another game.
