Info required.

A mate has just took a job in London right next to Paddington Station. He needs to sort out digs as cheap as poss (graduate job paying buttons) somewhere either close to work or a simple commute away.

Any ideas where are the best areas and how much he should expect to pay?

If he's working just by Paddington station it might work out cheaper to try places outside of London linked to Paddingt5on by rail and commute in? Unless he wants to live in London of course, in which case places like Harlesden, Cricklewood etc in north west London just up the Bakerloo line from Paddington will be "cheapest" for London probably.

Not the easiest of places to come to in my experience like! Good luck to him.

I work out of paddington, most of the folks who are based there tend to live in reading(30 mins away by train) .the ones who do live reasonably close are sharing 3 or 4 to a house cos the rent is over a grand a month minimum(not including bills). There are always people looking for a house share,I'll have a look next time I'm up and PM you some numbers if anyone's looking.

I think it's a house share that he's looking for, so any info would be much appreciated.
