Used to get their calendars with the tear-off picture postcards from my uncle every year.

Good charity.

We used to get one of them every year from my nana. They are a fantastic charity and they are usually my choice if ever I am doing something that requires sponsorship mainly because they were brilliant for my grandad in his last few weeks

I did a 34 mile walk last year in aid of the Hospice and raised ove a grand thinking of doing it again next year, from the white horse at Kilburn to Roseberry Topping.

12 hrs in the fooking rain and found out my walkingboots were no longer bastad waterproof after 3 miles banghead ended up with trenchfoot nearly! Invested in some better boots and breaking them in gently.

Aye I think i'll have another pop at something like that next year

the wife did a 13000 ft parachute jump for the Hospice about 4 years back!!! Raised a bit of money as well. Fund raising was a bit more sedate after that - raffles and collection boxes in the pub!!!
