Not a rumour, having said that Sarf is a canny bloke (if misguided, being a Loid & all) enjoyed meeting him

At least he didn't try to hide his "Loidness" & wore his colours with pride (well as much pride as a Loid can muster  )

agree chip BUT what about somebody born in portsmouth but supporting pools does that make him less of a pooly

if i do know you Tim then i am ignorant of the fact
the meet was arranged by me as a laugh and Sarf went along with it
after taking some abuse [banter] from dibble and co but the bloke took it well and more power to his elbow for going through with it
how many poolies would go into a loid situation like that

i think the bunker boys enjoyed it

Aye, he seemed like a decent enough sort of bloke for a southerner and a loid to boot.

OK Tim, but, next time you decide to approach a bloke walking quietly away from a ground with several hundred yobs baying for blood just yards away, think about what your going to say. I weren't banter like the pub, you could have been anyone with a grudge to settle. I can tell you it wasn't pleasant. but I'm not one to hold a grudge with anyone.

I must admit Tim - You did come across a bit imtimidating and I did have a go at him for it in the car(He did actually explain he was looking for a bite and told me too simmer down!!) but joking aside, I thought SARF had balls of Iron, you wouldnt catch me in any Loid bar, you wouldnt catch me in Darlington Full Stop!!
Im one for sticking up for people and ive known Tim for a while now and he is a canny lad, Ive met far worse..
