You are conducting a poll in the rarified atmosphere of a message board.... what exactly would that prove...? Try talking to the ordinary supporters and I have yet to meet one who is looking forward to next season..people to whom the messageboards mean jack shit.
Unhappy...? well tell me what you are happy about next season...we're in the doldrums, drifting into the season without any apparent leadership.

Just seems like anything slightly thought provoking gets removed from here recently.

I dunno how people can be unhappy with the present situation, it's pre-season, the situation is the players are on holiday, probs right now!

Not many other teams are making that world famous 'cart-wheel signing' everyone wants.

I wouldn't say I was Unhappy....but I'm not looking forward to the coming Season like I usually am because nothing has changed!!!! confised confised

The same inept manager & the same inept players (not all) that limped through last season!!!! confised confised

The manager trying to BIG up players that WE KNOW are not good enough!!!! confised confised

Players that look as though they are unhappy themselves!!!! confised

And an Amazing line-up for our Centenary Tournament!!!!

I honestly think I could have organised a better one myself!!!! confised

i know i havent been following pools as much as you lot for as long of you so i cant really say, but looking at old tables its probably because this is the first time in a while we've finished in such a dull possision, for example if we'd of finished 23rd people would be exited about hopefully ripping the league apart and going for promotion. If we had of been promoted people would have been looking forward to a new league, and 8th or higher and people would of been looking forward to the prospect of going for play-offs or automatic the following season.

well im certainly not unhappy, and its my first season ticket this year thrilled

Pools are not the state religion to be worshipped and respected for just existing, they are a football club in the enteratinment business... in that business, 'dull' equates to failure.
'Enteratining' does not mean award winning success, it means going out and giving the fans hope and sense of all sharing the same ideal... that was nowhere in sight last season .
So when 'dull' comes along, you try to get rid of 'dull' as quickly as possible.. if you don't you get complacency and acceptance...a nd the belief that Pools are a religion.....which they arent!

We all know how it works...when or if Wilson goes, which thay all do eventually, those who have been part of the 'Emperors Guard' will airbrush him out , push to the front of the throng and declare their undying loyalty to the new regime while using their foot to brush the dirt onto the still warm grave of the old order. peace will break out, hope will return and we'll all start laughing at darlo.......
Infighting, bickering and a rampant rumour mill, are a sure sign that things aren't right.

Would there be more reaction if the question was "are you UNhappy".

Pools fans are more keen to vent their negetivity.

Do we really want another pre-season searching for a new manager?

We already have a awful record when it comes to retaining managers.

Why not try and instill some stability into the club by backing the manager when he has a bit of a dip in fortunes?

After all, some of the greatest managers in the modern game struggled at the beginning.

But with the greatest respect to Danny Wilson, he's never going to be one of the greatest managers in the modern game.

I have nothing against the fella, he's probably found his level, dipping between the lower half of league one and the top half of league two.

Our owners still seem ambitious, if he does go, it'll be because they want to push on again and don't believe/trust that Danny Wilson can do that. Lets be honest he did the job he was brought in to do, picked the team up from the bones of its arse and secured automatic promotion back to League One. At the very least that's where we want to be.

If he goes he goes, I wish him well. I'd like to see a young ambitious, hungry manager brought in who is full of passion and new fresh ideas, perhaps not one with no managerial experience though (Scotty), one who has done well at a smaller club (Cooper).

It's a bit of a leading question for a poll innit?

"Are you unhappy with HUFC?"

Maybe a question like "Are you optimistic that under the current managerial set up HUFC will regularly entertain you next season and be challenging for at least a play off position?" would have brought a different result?

The thing is, people are going to say what they think whether other people like it or not.
Telling them they are whingers for doing this is exactly the wrong approach.

A few cartwheel signings on the other hand and...well, their opinions would change instantly

No they aren't. sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

They're in the sport business and you'll always find sport and entertainment on different sections of whatever you read or whatever you choose to follow.

Someone who goes to 'Mamma Mia' every week or sees their favourite band 46 times a year or goes to Covent Garden once every five days isn't a fan, they're a nutter. Bit like them who watch Big Brother or East Enders slavishly. Any of the above doesn't come in the same category as football fans, footy is unique.

Most on here would criticize people who slopped about from team to team and dismiss them as Charlatans. In the entertainment business you get to pick and choose what you spend your money on, different bands, different shows, different telly, more and more different telly all the time.

Does anyone remember the phrase 'wait and see??'

Thought not. bbolt

i am fairly happy with the present situation at Pools. BUT last season Danny Wilson made a lot of cock ups and I think the season fizzled out earlier than it should. I am sitting on the fence with regards Wilson at the moment. I think that there is potential to build on last season and hopefully he will stop making daft decisions.

I am more concerned about signing a decent goalkeeper than replacing the manager at this stage....

Maybe, and I dont know this, the current manager doesnt want a new keeper. Maybe others behind the scenes do..........maybe they want Dimi?

If he doesn't want a new keeper, then I don't want this manager.
As of right now.

However he can't surely be happy with them? sctatchinghead

We need a keeper, end of. And a striker. I'll be happy then.

The only thing that makes me unhappy at the present situation is that as soon as the new season starts, everyone on here will start reading too much into things and moaning. Very tiresome. yawn2

33 v 27, at the moment !
Do you still stick by your statement Phil ?

Personally, I'll be watching the first few results, very closely.
If we are getting the same attitude (from both players and management)
then I'll be making very few trips during the season.

The one game I would have gone to, the Leicester one, has been ruled out.
so it could be the first season I've not seen Pools, for a very long time

I agree, if it is going to happen why didn't it after the Walsall game sctatchinghead

By the way what has Danny Wilson done to make you 'despise' him? I haven't seen or heard anything to suggest that Danny Wilson isn't a good bloke, he might do some things you don't agree with to your football team but 'despise?' give order man.
