Was supposed to be making his mind up yesterday, one from....

Barnsley,
Hartlepool,
Crewe,
Leyton Orient,
Dundee,
Hamilton,
Kilmarnock

He was quoted as saying he wanted to try his luck in England. Don't think we can compete with the wages Barnsley could offer him like.

Seen him at a cash machine with micky adams.

Both smiling, shaking hands, and holiding new fresh contracts with a big pools badge on the top of them

Two of our so called rivals for the signature of Snodgrass, Leyton Orient and Barnsley, have both signed strikers. Barnsley paid £1.2 million for Leicester's Iain Hume and Orient have snapped up Ryan Jarvis from Norwich. Could it be that the young Scot has opted for Pools?

Martin Ling doesn't sound very confident.....

Reflecting on the situation, Ling said: "We've had a package that could total £90,000 agreed with Livingston and spoken to the player.

"There is however a few clubs interested, because both Hartlepool and Crewe from our league are also in the running, while Dundee United and a team from germany also want him.

"So at the moment we are waiting to hear back from Robert, before things can move any further.

"He is a player a scout identified to us last season and Kevin Nugent went up and watched him as well.

"The only worry I have is that the lad might not want to come down as far as London, but hopefully he will see how well Craig Easton did at our place and maybe that might help a bit."

Snodgrass is a Scottish Under-21international and looks to want a challenge south of the boarder after five years at the Almondvale Stadium.
