Over 30 years ago, hardly seems like ten, i'm sure it was two quid in but may be wrong,and what a side forest sent, you wouldn't see one of your premiershit sides doing that now.

Cant remember the pitch invasion but was typical of pools fans then :laugh:

The thing I remember most was that it all kicked off with a few Forest fans in the Millhouse stand.

Not having a photographic memory like you Elvis, I don't remember details of too many of the games that I have been to. But I do remember that one. Although I don't remember the Stars match, must have just turned up in time for the main match. I'd not long been out of the RAF, and was getting back into seeing Pools regularly at home for the first time in 6 years. Seem to remember Malcolm Poskett having a mini scoring run, 6 in 4 I think, just before the Testimonial, but was injured and missed out on playing against Cloughie's Forest stars.
