Great lads are The Kenyan Lads, I warmed up with them before the start
of tonight's Blaydon Race, I tucked in behind them on the warm up and
that was the last I saw of them....but they did say, that Pools are
the first results that they look out for (fluent in pit yakker they were as well)

Thay may have been first across the finish line in the 5.9 mile road race
but they didn't beat yours truly to the free, stottie, black pudding, pickled
onions and bottle of broon (Archie had the tripe when I got home)

Official results due out tomorrow but I reckon I completed the course in 40:02.
