Personally, I reckon if a 155mm shell is heading vertically for the top of your head, a bit of Brylcreem, a wax of the moustache and a neatly pressed uniform aint gonna make much difference.

I think theres some truth in the fact that people who keep themselves in good nick tend to be good at all sorts of personal admin. It follows that those with a tidy mind are tidy in lots of other ways; keeping their kit in order, keeping their weapon clean, being able to think clearly under pressure that sort of thing.

I can see the logic but its a long way from a hard and fast rule.
