Ashton Gate really reminded me of four years ago tonight.

I tell you what give me a proper old ground any day over these new concrete character free bowls, what a great atmosphere that place has.

I'd agree with that. Some right flea bags were in that end next us as well, real knuckle dragging hillbillies!! Hull fans are no better though.

I don't see the point in either of them going up anyway, a good season will be beating Derby's point total.

Wouldnt it be nice to have the chance to play in 38 top class matches, even if it is a one season wonder !!

Im sure you wouldnt turn it down if pools were given the chance. 10 points or not!

Last time I seen PB at pools he was taking the pizz out of the ground and talking about how it must be hard working for a 'big club' like artlepool... wheres that to55er sign?

Why can't both teams get beat?

I bet that's what Derby's fans were thinking this time twelve months ago, not sure they'd feel the same now. It wouldn't surprise me if they went into freefall now.

The state of the Championship means that the Premiership relegated spots are all but decided. West Brom have got plenty of quality to stay up but the other 2 (whoever they will be) haven't got a chance.

The most annoying thing about last nights game was Sky's continual lovemaking to Lee Trundle. I think they loved him even more than that sub who must have kissed him half a dozen times at half time in injury time! sctatchinghead

Unhappily I have to agree. Any one of those four teams in the Championship play-offs will get eaten up and spit out by the premiership, even by the likes of Sunderland or Wigan.
Bristol City looked no better than Carlisle the night before.

He was quality though. The only quality player in the game apart from one or two great saves by the Bristol goalie.

Just a crumb of comfort for the Hull haters, don't they have to see off Watford tonight first, before booking their place against Bristol City. I know they are 2-0 up from the away leg, but it's not guaranteed that they won't fook it up tonight.

Brizzle Rovers away was the third best Pools game I have ever been to, and those cider sipping nonces safely hidden behind their wire netting only made it better. If anyone had had any bolt cutters they'd all have fled.

They couldn't even spit right......

I couldn't agree more. It's been a real footballing festival with plenty more to come; I'm loving every minute of it. Even if it does involve Darlo. rage
