Gets blamed for everything global warming now.

It's not actually the council that won't sell us the ground it's global warming.

Watching a programme recently that revealed the variations in the earths temperature and its cycles over the years....so .... what caused all the previous weather changes, were the Flintstones driving about in Range Rovers then...?
We mustn't forget that global warming.... :uhoh: sorry 'climate change', keeps a lot of people in very well paid jobs.
Global warming would be a disaster, but no global warming would be the end of a lifestyle as they know it.

IT'S ALL QUIET SIMPLE....we have universties battery farming ever greater numbers of degree grabbers and only so many of those degrees are in subjects that are useful to society. The rest are pretendy subjects for the dimmer end of the universty spectrum. Eventually, these 'graduates' have to emerge blinking into the harsh daylight of the real world of employment, a world for which they are totally unarmed to deal with. However, it would not look good if they were consigned to the jobs for which they are suited...i.e ...burger flipping, so their degrees in bullshit...aka 'meeja' studies, are put to use as nagging outreach workers telling you what to be scared of and how you should live your life from eating to thinking..... they are called the ..... secret police, in other countries, but we are so damp and liberal and pc we give them titles like 'global outreach climate change co-ordinator'.

absolutely brilliant Snowy. Modern Britain summed up in a nutshell.
What's scary is, every time I drive past the college I will now be thinking that inside the building there could be some little twat, ready to step into the political breach at some future point in time, who is the person who will make my life a little bit worse through a decision made by them in some future council/local Govt meeting. Someone who wasn't even born when I started my working life!!!!
