Well y'know, Mackay has had two pretty bad games. It's kinda logical to put Barker in. Even if it's not very exciting news.

Yeovil had two massive centre halves so I can see Wilson's reasoning for starting with Barker.

Up until his injury I think his selection was justified in his performance, regardless of who Yeovil had at the back.

Yes totally agree with Barker's selection fully justified until his injury. However, when we are playing at home we play good fast attacking football so stick with two pacey forwards (1 of either Porter / MAckay / Brown).

when we are playing away we dont seem to be able to play the same football. for this reason why not play Barker up top where can the clear the lines from the back, and the big mna can hold the ball up for the rest of the team to then go and join in. this might be negative thinking on my part but i bet we would pick more 1 points up than we are at the minute.

So if Brown and Porter both score at home the following week one gets dropped for Barker because we're away? Don't fancy that being good for morale. Having said that with Barker getting picked regardless, that can't be good for the other strikers either!

but how well did both Porter and brownie torture those big centre halves?
ok Barker was doing ok till the injury but i could play for twenty minutes we know he slows during the game
imo he should not have been risked without some reserve team football do not understand the reasoning behind playing him so early
anyone heard how bad the injury is?

if it's an unlucky injury, which would/could have happened regardless of his existing injury problem, then nobody can really forsee something like that.
On the other hand, if it's a recurrence of the existing injury because he's been rushed back, then questions have to be asked as to who gave the go-ahead for Barker to play. The physio, doctor , manager and player should all have to be 100% happy that the player is fit enough to play, and be able to withstand any physical contact on the (supposedly healed) injury
