I can't comment without reading his contract. If Gray's gave him a contract promising to pay him in full if ever he was arrested rather than suspending payments pending the outcome, they don't really have a leg to stand on do they. A statement from the club's lawyer would have been useful. Maybe its absence indicates they know they're on a hiding to nothing. They should fire their lawyer.

still mad to pay a man who never played for them all that money, when the reason he couldn't play for them is because he was part of a murderous gang

On the face of it he was only accused of being part of the gang and he could have been found innocent. The old innocent until proven guilty rears it's head again. As Mr Head has said it would be easier to judge if we were in possession of all the facts. You have to remember you are sitting in judgement based on what the media has decided to tell you which in itself is extremely dangerous. It's not like the FA to be frivolous. :!:

But he wasn't and his wasn't

Some people have no shame whatsoever, he played a part in a brutal murder and therefore shouldn't be give a single cent

It has got nothing to do with shame. The FA ruled to uphold his contract up to the point where he was convicted. Until we are privy to all the facts we can't make any other comment. Whether we agree with the law is another matter. It regularly appears to be an ass. That also depends upon which angle you are viewing from.

To me it has

He was guilty all along so why should of been paid up to the point of conviction, what if it took another four years, does he get four years pay on top
What happens if he gets the money, what kind of message does that send out? Brutally murder someone, but you can get someone to fight your cause and get paid up to the day you are found guilty

Without sounding to basic, its a load of old wank

I don't know why I'm answering this but I'll try again.
He wasn't guilty until he was proven guilty. He is being paid up to the point of conviction as those are the rules being applied by the FA. I can't answer your four year question as I don't know the length of his contract or it's content. The message being sent out is that a contract is a contract and should be honoured AND a man is innocent until proven guilty AND if you break the law and get caught you will be punished if found guilty. If you have a problem with this then you will have to confront the FA with it. No matter how unpalatable this is to you and I , the law is the law until it is challenged and altered. I would imagine an appeal is available. Getting all emotional isn't going to change anything. I do understand where you are coming from but like me you don't know all the facts.
