If we applied your logic, no manager would ever be sacked... they'd just go on till they died, quit or retired. We went wrong when we replaced Scotty with Stevo, that was the BIG mistake. When Scotty went, we could have had a new face brought in straght away to galvanise the players and get them motivated and bring an air of uncertainty into their complacent world, instead we got more of the comfy zone same and the relagation was rubber stamped.
