The school he went to, The Howard School, is only 15 minutes from mine - Rainham Mark Grammar School.

Tragic, but looks a right thick piece of work - mind you they are all neanderthals up there.

So he went to a bad school. Doesn't make him a "right thick piece of work".
For you to make comments like that about a 12 year who has just died means unfortunately you are. Undoubtedly.

I was gonna say. For fuck's sake.

Anything that paraphrases "He's dead but..." requires a kick in the face for being as subtle as a brick at one of the only times that doesn't warrant it

Quite frankly, "Person dies in ski a accident" doesn't set my adrenaline flowing. Somebody please tell me how many people die every day?
Maybe "Person murdered by Mylie Kinogue" might make me stop and read, but if I'm brutally honest with myself, as far as the ski death goes I really couldn't care less. Plenty of people will care in my place.

Mourn for him then also mourn for the other countless young people who died on the same day.
You'll spend your life mourning.

Just looks like a kids who has been killed in a tragic accident to me. I'm not sure of the relevance of the quality of his school.

RIP young man.

Off topic.

Oh bugger now I've even bored myself but...

Ski-ing is stupid, you either want to be at the bottom of the hill in which case don't go up it, OR you want to be at the top of the hill, so don't slide down it.

Ergo, ski-ing is for people who can't make their minds up.

Sorry about the young kid. He was too young to be put in such danger.

I concur. I wish schools would just concentrate on getting the teaching right and stop thinking they have a duty to escort our kids around the world
