On the index page when there are new posts to be viewed the paper shape inside the circle normally is orange, but for some reason this doen't happen and they stay white so you can't tell straight away if there are any new posts for you to view.

Aah. when you've read a thread are you clicked the back button or the index link?

(the index link is the bit at the top that says:

If its the back button the cache won't understand it properly. You should always go back to the index. It's one click either way so it shouldn't be too much of a hardship.

I noticed today that when I first logged in there was no orange papers but there were new posts that i hadn't read, but it does seem to work now and then though :???:

It is working ok at the minute though, it only seems to be a problem when first logging in, I can manage without them but I assume that Saltys booze addled brain might find it a bit tricky though

Scarlet Pimpernel got me pissed today and now it's his fault my brain hurts. I hope Mutttley makes him drink heavily and his brain hurts tomorrow. I think it's inevitable.

They used to work fine for me until a couple of days back. Now they don't disappear like Dibble and Salty have said and I also have to log on everytime I visit The Bunker even though I have ticked the "Log me on Automatically" box.

When the board was re-setup, I installed a security modification so that most of these bots from Russia couldn't register. To solve your log in problem you need to do the following:

Close all browsers
open internet settings (from control panel)
Select 'clear cookies and delete temp internet files

Then log in, problem solved.
