Who is and isn't available then?

When might there be any news with regards to the appeal against Collins' red card?

If we don't get a result against that lot we may as well pack up and go home.

surely to shit we'll beat them, even accounting for how unreliable and unpredictable we've been this season. Cheltenham aren't actually too bad a team in all truth, so getting beat off them isn't as disastrous as getting beat off Port Vale for instance.
We may play like shite a lot of the time, but Port Vale ARE shite, that's the difference.

I think that young Rae has earned his chance, I'd be delighted if he were given it.

This Rowell kid can't be too bad either if they've given him a pro contract.

So depending upon the result against Port Vale will it give us an accurate reflection of where we actually are on the shiteometer?

correct. Even if Port Vale are at their best, we would only need to be at 50% of our best to beat them. If we don't beat them, then the players should line up against a wall and let me beat them all with a baseball bat for pissing me off once too often.
