A Pools fan has paid £1,200 for Clarence Road....virtual Clarence Road that is!!!! confised

The person who sold it bought it for only £5 from a site that sells virtual street names and then he sold it on for what ever price he could get!!!! :sweeeet:

I honestly don't get it. You pay this guy £5 for nothing, well no, you pay him £5 for one web page on his website.

Why would you want to do that? sctatchinghead

It's not even as clever as those pixel websites thats sprung up, at least on those your 'investment' could be seen as soon as you loaded the website. If you load this site and you are not on that first page index, your chances of being 'seen' are tiny, only somebody who specifically searches for your street name will see your page.
