I followed one of those huge black 4x4's down past the Vic tonight, one of those ones that look like they've been put on steroids and have scaffolding bars all over them in case they hit a Wildebeeste near the Burn Valley  ...anyway, it suddenly slammed the anchors on and crawled over the speed hump, probably in 4x4 mode, shot off, braked and repeated the procedure at every speed bump. So...what is the purpose of these polished bling wagons..... if the driver is intimidated by a speed hump .... ? sctatchinghead

They're the most driver friendly speed bumps ever...unless you drive a Reliant Robin.

So you've got one eh...? There's a theory they're bought by certain people to compensate for other things that may not be 'up to scratch' and this is a subconcious buy to compensate....just a theory

we were playing up at ryhope today, and one of the lads in the side has his own upmarket car showroom.

he turns up in a different car every week.

today he rolls up in this 7 seater chrysler thing. i go to get in the back and he tells me not to open the door with the handle cos they is electric doors.

the doors literally slid open by electric.

when we got in to come back we couldnt get one of the doors shut. there was a problem with the electrics apparently. i foolishly asked if we couldnt just pull it shut with the handle and was asked in aggressive fashion :

" dont you know funk all about cars ? "

as it happens, i dont. sadx

the more there is to wrong the more it will go wrong!

thats why I have simple cars and never breakdown or owt
