I'd play Nelson beside Collins cos they've got previous together.

I'd also stick with the good old 4-4-2.

GK Lee-Barrett
RB McCunnie
LB Liddle
CB Nelson
CB Collins
RM Brown
LM Humphreys
CM Sweeney
CM God knows, either Thompson or Boland
CF Porter
CF Mackay

Although I'll be amazed if Danny-boy does that.

He'll play Richie at the back and will doubtless start Barker up front.

No Monkhouse then sadx

I would be surprised to see Thompson getting the nod on the left. I know it's been his regular position over the years and it could work, but I thought we could try to get Robson running at them if Monkhouse wasn't available.

It's not as if the position is alien to the guy he's been capped by England playing there and he's never had any pace he'l l hopefully get over some quality crosses. At least the team is balanced ie. no right footer no no discipline or physical presence (yes Foley) exposing Humphreys to two players all night like on Tuesday.

But yes, I realise that we have reached something of a peculiar situation when Robson can be suggested as a solution. Strange days indeed. confised

I wasn't laughing at the thought of Robson, I think he would do a good job if given the chance.

I was laughing at the suggestion that there would be any sort of logic behind Wilson's thinking.

It doesn't make any difference neither is any good I actually think I prefer Budtz  That's not to say that I rate him, it's like choosing between Rob Moverley and Steve Jones....

Cheltenham game apart, Lee-Barrett has looked 100 times the keeper that Budtz will ever be.
