but sweeny is taller than cunnie and therefor defends the long diagonal ball better......

It's all bollox though isnt it

You play YOUR best team, you should never change your team to suit the oppo

Mcunnie is a right back, Sweeney a midfielder, so it just baffles me

Sweeney was the only player to come out with any credit last night but given how unstable our defence has been why take our best right-back out after he put in a solid 90 minutes last week?

but what if
you have a man lost in the fog of delusion
or the man has no idea what his best team is
a man who had a winning system last season that he dismantled
a man clutching at straws
a man who cannot attract quality players to the club
[don,t blame poor wages for that one]
a man who has been down this road before
the best ten years the club has known and it is turning into another pools shambles a 100 years of disappointment interspersed by the odd blip of success
but dont you just love it?

You're right with most of that Ian with the exception of the last line. I'm really losing interest and have been gradually all season. If we were playing Forest away on Saturday I'm not sure if I'd bother to go. Well not while theres a cuttlery drawer that needs tidying up.
