Going down faster than the titanic.
Either Wilson needs to go or Ken needs to get his Wallet out NOW!
We don't spend enough to do anything more than struggle, when was the last time Pools forked out over 100k on a player?
Loans, Free's and the odd cheapo.

I'm starting to think, that they think it's a good idea to have promotion campaigns from League Two

Wilson will probably end up getting the bullet.
BUT if the board is not giving him any money to spend when teams like Doncaster are throwing money about, what hope have we got under any manager?

You cannot blame the board for NOT giving him money. Wilsons signings have been dodgy to say the least! The guys in incompetent and if i was Ken then i would not trust Danny Wilson with the kids pocket money! Useless twonk

it's not always about money. Look at the fight Northampton are making of it. Swindon and Gillingham have got nowt. Neither have Cheltenham, Port Vale, or Bournemouth. There's a few others the same. It's about motivation and organisation - Cooper had those qualities, Wilson hasn't when the going gets tough.
It's easy to be manager of a winning team - you find out what he's like when the chips are down.

PS I'm not saying all of those clubs are doing well -I'm saying money isn't everything in this League. It's what you do with the players you've got that counts. Some of those teams have too many shit players. I don't think we do. I just think we have a shit manager.

Dodgy?
How many players as he actually signed for a fee?
Monkhouse & Barker? Both did the job required of them, I do agree Barker is now out of his depth, but Wilson has nobody else.
We can't hope to compete with Leeds, Doncaster, Swansea, Forest at al if we don't spend a quarter of what they do.
And Parm, theres a reason why nearly all of those clubs are below us.
Edit: We do have too many shiit players, league two players at best, Barker, Foley, Robson, Boland, Sweeney, Elliot, ALB, Butdz, Turnbull and a couple more aren't good enough for this division, while Porter and Monkhouse are always injured, Clark has been injured quite a bit too.

Forest get nearly 20000 at home, Dirty Leeds get more, Donny get about 10000

IOR can't be blamed for signings, they always come up trumps with cash for players or wages

They do however seem to dither over managers..............

Walsall haven't spent anything infact they have sold players and look where they are. So it has nothing to do with spending loads of money, it's motivating what you have.

I'm sure it's nothing to with spending money at all.
Even though the league table usually reflect which teams spent big, obviously they have the odd exception.
Why are you all trying to say that this is nothing to do with Pools being tight?

I think people are trying to say that it's not all to do with that. Some clubs spend big and never get the right players in because they are mercenaries. I'd like to think that the spirit we had at the club during that 20-odd match unbeaten run is there to be rekindled.
It just won't be while Wilson is at the club.

Oh, I'm not saying Wilson should stay, at all.
But I do think that we'd be much more well positioned if we came into this season having spent anything at all.
In my honest opinion, I don't believe the current group of players are good enough for a top 10 finish in this division.

to be honest, if someone offered me 5th bottom I'd snatch their hands off.
Sadly, two years ago around this time I said exactly the same thing.........................

Of FFS stop imagining that buying players is the be all and end all. The fact is there's a limited number of players in circulation and logically all the best ones are fixed up already with clubs. Teams are always bringing new players in an attempt to improve their teams; but if it worked very time every team in the country would be world class by now.
