It's a shame that Gannon has gone cos he was one of the better Pools reporters of recent years.

It's an even bigger shame that it appears that the incompetent yes-man buffoon who was spouting all the inaccurate shi'ite about Barker between Christmas and New Year appears to have the gig judging by him doing the Northampton report in last night's paper.

I like The Mail, I get it delivered and actually bother to read it.

But if this geezer is gonna be the permanent Pools reporter and continues with the garbage he put into print in December then I will seriously consider stopping it.

Howay Mr Ptbap, the stuff I've seen from him to date is gash. Surely there is no disputing that?

Although I do agree that whether I buy it or not is hardly gonna make a difference.

Just pulling your leg mate, only buy the rag once or twice a week, usually to look at the houses and cars.

Speaking of which, I don't suppose you or anybody else on here knows anybody who wants to buy a 2nd hand Audi on the cheap before I place an advert?

No, I tried to get rid of that for you last time you 'advertised it'.

Do you know anybody who wants a large dog kennel, brand new?

On a serious note, http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/ is your answer, loads of cars go from there everyday.

How big is the kennel and how much do you want for it?

Mrs R is about 5ft6 and a size 12 (so she tells me!).

Would she fit in it if I wanted to put her in the garden during her more annoying moments?

Yes definitely, but surely she'd also fit in the car boot.

The problem when I put her in the boot is that she thinks I'm gonna go and chop her up in the woods or chuck her off a viaduct.

A kennel in the back garden might allay those fears.

Fair point. And I suppose if you had to tell somebody were she was you'd just say she's in the dog house, they'd laugh and think you weren't talking or something, not realising she really WAS in the dog house.

you can't really tell people the missues is in the boot of the spare car you have sat on the drive.

I did suggest our eldest applied. But you have to have a full driving license. I suppose I could have done the driving for him like,as long as he could claim for me on expenses. sctatchinghead

Today's classic piece on the Arnison "deal" ends with the following...

"Pools may have to break their transfer fee to get their hands on Elding, with a fee of £150,000 being muted."

Muted? As in, someone's said it and been told to shut up? Or could it be that's it's actually supposed to read "mooted"? And this is a professional writer?

As Leeds Poolie would say, "you after laugh"....
