Ali Gibb has gone to Notts County on loan. Strikes me as a strange one given Danny's predilection to picking him
and the number of first team games he's been involved in. Is this a sign that changes are about to take place with a few new faces coming in?

Good luck to him.

I don't think he's as bad as some make out, his crossing and passing are certainly better than most at the club.

It would seem that it should signal somebody else coming in as a replacement though, surely?

Well it's another off the wage bill, that would indeed indicate somebody coming in.

Ali Gibb had one or two stinkers, but on the whole looked an average player, not a top 6 league one player though, and if that's really were we are aiming for then it's right he's allowed to move on.

I'll see what I can do, can't promise anything though, however, I do have a 100% rate up to now.

Lormor
Widdrington.
Richardson.
Easter.
Gibb.

With Dannys insistence of playing Gibb at right back maybe this is a sign that another right is on their way in sctatchinghead

That was my immediate thought, we've only got three now.
One who has been retired, one who is on loan and one who is now an injured midfielder

did i not read in the mail the other night danny saying we dont have to let anyone go just to strengthen the squad
seems a strange on unless they are looking for a permenant deal on a winger/fullback

It's a long time since I've believed a single word that Wilson says.

If Gibb had a bit of pace he'd be a quality Right Winger, The crosses he puts in 95% of the time are top notch, But unfortunatley not much else goes for his game!

Just my opinion but I think this points to Wilson not being allowed to entirely pull the strings any longer. Probably based on recent performances. He was a strong advocate of Gibb's, I don't think others at the club with power and authority, entirely agreed with that. The proof for me, will be if Mickey Barron gets to see 1st team action again - which I (along with BBB)believe he deserves.

How many goals has Ali G set up since he signed for Pools?

I really don't think Gibb improved the squad, he offers very little. I would of rather seen Pools develop young talent than sign journeymen who offer little......

I see Ali Gibb played a full ninety minutes for Notts County as well as Gavin Strachan. They got 3 beat nil like by Bradford and Lee Bullock played the full ninety for them. Oh Darren Williams for Bradford as well.
