Reading my latest Private Eye, there's an article on what I call the editorial page, here's part of it.....
....comes another hare - brained government scheme inspired by TV trash.
"Spark" will give homelessness charities the chance for a share of a £1.5m pot - provided they compete against other charities in a battle of "bright ideas".
Announcing the scheme last month, junior housing minister Iain Wright described it as a "Dragons' den" style competition in which homelessness charities and hostels will pitch for funding, "mentoring" and a one day "enterprise make-over". Wright hailed it as a "fantastic example of government working in partnership with the voluntary and private sector"........

Can this Iain Wright be the same Iain Wright who resigned about the hospital.........surely not?
