Porter was in the starting eleven when he got injured. So was Monkhouse. So was Clark. So was McCunnie. So was Brown when he took ill. So was Boland. That doesn't suggest to me that Wilson would go with the side that played Carlisle if everyone was available.

How many games were Clark, Porter and Monkhouse ignored for, before finally getting a chance.
