Just wanted to say how delighted I am Ben has signed a new contract. I know cynics will say that a contract counts for nothing but when Ben was on Poolsworld the other week, he genuinely sounded like he cared and referred to pools as 'us' and 'we' or am I just being gullible?

No matter what, i'm over the moon and can't wait til he's back.

Ben Clark is a gem, I was at his debut game and he ran from corner to corner at the Town End pre-kick-off and applauded the crowd. Must have been a bit daunting if he was used to Sunderland crowds even if he didn't get many games up there.

He was a bit fat then as well but how fit does he look these days??

A rose amongst thorns at the moment, but in my opinion still not good enough to play in a team that challenge for automatic promotion.
