some big crowds in the Blue Square today, involving ex-league clubs. Over 7,000 at Cambridge, just under 6,000 at Oxford (a team in mid-table)!!!, just under 8,000 at Exeter, 4,500 watching Aldershot play at Woking.
Probably nobody gives a toss, but I thought it was interesting anyway.

Good to see big crowds for the 'little' clubs. Over the years I think the vast majority of teams outside the Premiership have seen average attendances rise (excluding the Loids :laugh: ).

I reckon people are cottoning onto the monotony and expense of the Premiershit and turning to their local teams. Clubs are much more community focussed than they used to be, and the amount of kids (lasses in particular) who go to games is increasing all the time which increases the numbers. Good news I say.
