MJ, seeing as though Mr I is asking stat questions, can I too?

How many players have played for Pools first team but never been on the winning side? And who are they?

Similarly, have we had any players who've never been on the losing side for Pools?

I think I've found one!

Jade Sinclair.

Played 5, lost 5.

And another, Graham Carr.

Although he did manage to play in one draw out of his three games...

the next question is, can we now pick a starting XI from all of those "never lost a game with Pools" players?
And how good would it really be then?

I never realised he was here for such a short time. It speaks volumes that he is held in legendary status having only played a dozen games.

that performance away at Stockport on Good Friday was unbelievable. It gave the rest of the team the belief that the oppo wouldn't be able to score past him unless it was something out of the ordinary (which if I remember rightly Stockport's goal in that match was one of the best goals of the season - but we were 3-0 up by then). It was Stockport's only league defeat at home all season.

He's still playing - for Nigel Clough's Burton Albion.
I saw Frank Talia play several of those winless games - he was on loan from Blackburn Rovers (I think) and had cost them something like £100k. I thought he was a good keeper with a thankless task - was at Wycombe last season, I think he may have had a bad injury whilst with them.
