Sweeney is a very good player but has fallin into Ritchie mode by getting an automatic slot irrespective of performance. Hopefully after a few weeks out he'll have to fight for his place and perform like he can.

Not that it made any difference when he came back because the whole team was in comfort mode.

In answer to the question, I think Boland or Strachan can do a perfectly adequate job as holding midfielders allowing Gary to get up there and frighten the shite out of them. :grin:
