We're not by any means out of it Mr Khunt. The tail wagged nicely and they're only 72 up with eight standing and a nice overcast day for Hoggard and Monty tomorrow. The two main threats are gone and the third one is on nowt. Could have been a much worse day.

went to my only ever Cricket match in the summer, Surrey against Middlesex in the 20-20. Full house, it didn't rain, exciting game (apparently) but.........................I queued over 20 mins for a drink, imagine that at VP. They would only serve 4 pints at a time, don't think they have quite sussed how to manage a crowd and this was The Oval sctatchinghead

It didn't quite work out that way though did it?

Sri Lanka 442 for 8 declared, England 9 for 1 at close of play.

Doncaster is just a reference point. Like when you have to tell furriners Hartlepool is near Newcastle.

"North East? Near Manchester then?"'
"No you plank North EAST, on the right, near the top!"

"In Scotland then??"

"Well name me a town nearby then"
"OK Blackhall"

confised

"Stockton"

sctatchinghead

"Middlesbrough"

yawn1

"Newcastle"
"Ah Newcastle, near Leeds right?"
