For those that haven't seen him yet, he looked class against Gillingham IMO. My brother saw him for first time yesterday and said he was class again. Only him and Brown came out of the game with any honour apparently. Any other views on the lad?

Good solid right back, nice cross on him and gets forward when he can....

Shame we already had a player who does EXACTLY the same job in Jamie McCunnie.

What I don't get is why McCunnie, who was putting in excellent performances at right back week after week, was suddely dropped for Coles then never played there again?

Oh yes sorry.... its those long diagonal balls that we must have to defend against every week and he was too small so thats why we cant ever try him at right back again?!?

Nolan looks the part, better than Coles but who wouldn't of ? I agree don't think we needed a full back cos now wer'e gonna have an unsettled Mcunnie, the areas I think that need sorting are goalkeeper and central defence, we look like conceding off every cross. sctatchinghead

carlisle ? brighton ? leeds ? swindon ? gillingham ? sctatchinghead

are you ripper in disguise ?

can't comment on hereford, cos i haven't seen the goals, but you are talking cack.

does it never cross your mind that there is a limit to what a keeper can actually do, and that the bulk of the problem lies with midfielders not making tackles and our previously much-vaunted defence not being able to tackle a roast dinner ?

BUDTZ = Easy target for lazy blinkered fans

He's been chipped more times than a king Edward, he's off his line when he should be on it and when he's on it he fails to catch it or punch it and oh aye and Orient away is another one, chipped on his line from 30 yards, he's 6 foot how many ?

Spot on Poolie Girl clappp

The worst thing about Pools demise this season is that they have all been SELF INFLICTED, we would be doing ok if DW ldidn't piss about so much and actually picked the team on merit............

Can't argue with that, too many needless changes before and during the game, but Jock the monkey was right tho' the fans need to get off there backs and get behind the manager and the team thrilled

Not only needless changes, there have been games where players have came on as sub (Porter, Foley, Mackay) scored and not been rewarded with starts. DW doesn't seem to use a system where the players earn their shirt....

I'm certainly not in the Wilson out brigade yet, I'm sat on the fence on this one presently but the currant trend of playing his favourites has got to chance for the good of HUFC.

I'm not a DW out supporter either, and I agree I don't want to see this current run of form continuing but maybe we are about to start another run similar to last years and DW is sorting his squad out. (funny way of doing it mind) but I think he will have established now that Mackay is not good enough for this division, Foley is only a last 10 minute man till he gets a bit of beef on him, Porter has had his starts but hasn't looked interested for some reason.
I think he's spoilt for choice with Brown, Monkhouse, Boland, Liddle, McCunnie, Barker, Moore, Porter, Sweeney, and doesn't know who to play anymore.
There should be enough there to cause any team problems, if only we can shut up shop at the back !

Sorting his squad out? It's now December, he's had since the beginning of August to sort his squad out. What makes you think we'll go on a run like last year? On what do you base your belief that Mackay isn't good enough for this division? The amount of goals he's knocked in for the reserves this season or the miniscule amount of time he's had to impress in the league? Boland, Barker and Moore have been ever presents when they're fit so you can't say he doesn't know who to play anymore.

So did Wilson not know how tall McCunnie was BEFORE he signed him to play at right back? stpid
