God i long for the day we return to the 70's and 80's. Bring back billy, john bird, eddie kyle or even dave McCreery, then we all might be happy. Wilson's first sticky patch and fans want him hung. Yes im dissapointed we are not doing aswell as we can but we have to keep faith that danny will get it right in the end. So judging by the names above and it been our first real sticky patch under Danny i say
WILSON IN!!!

Aye.

Why would anybody want rid of him?

It's not like we're being served up dreadful football to watch, haven't won for God knows how long or just been knocked out of the cup with a shameful performance at a lower league team.

One thing that you are right about though is comparing our current team and performances to that which we were given under the likes of Horner, Bird and McCreery.

If that is the limit of your hopes for Pools then I pity you cos there others amongst us who want to do the best we can, not just say that everything will be ok when it clearly isn't.

Billy Horner's blue and white army? The way we're playing right now we're not even that good.

I hope that things change tomorrow, but it really is just blind hope and optimism as reality says that we're in for a good hiding on our own pitch.

I fear a 3-0 (or worse) defeat tomorrow - the best result I can see us getting is a goalless draw
