According to Radio 5 he says to the FA 'come and get me'.

If this is true then the future is much much brighter.

Definitely. Now he'd be worth a four year contract.

He'd certainly get the best out of Terry, Cole, Lampard and SWP.

I know some dyed in the wool L'pool supporters who'll be delighted if Morinho gets the England job. The Echo has been full of speculation about Benitez's spat with the absentee american owners (it was noted they weren't at the Porto game last night) with mention of Morinho being linked to the job. We don't want 'im was the terse comment. They weren't happy bunnies with the thought of the antics or the style of play.

Yeah but WILL the FA go and get him, the big headed prats in Solo Square will probably refuse, he's certainly not a yes man and that's the type they normally go for.

Well he didn't say no which sounds like a maybe. You're right though, Barwick and co will appoint someone who always says yes (except when they want him to say no).

As opposed to 2-3 defeats at home

He may be a 'joke' but he is an excellent coach

And his shouts a lot, so HE MUST fit the bill, I mean SHOUTING & PUFFING your chest out like Keegan is what wins games, isn't it?

It is isn't it?

I can't get with this Mourinho for England stuff.

I can't see how he would benefit us.

One of the first jobs of the next England manager should surely be to jettison the likes of Lampard and Bridge, not put their arm round them and tell them how good they are for them to let everybody down again?

Plus he's a bit of a tit really.

We have loads of shi'ite players.

But we do have one or two good 'uns who are not played properly to try and accommodate the "stars" like Lampard and Gerrard.

Well it was Alan Lloyd look you!

And no they weren't the strimmer nickers, I suspect that was someone who is a victim of their genes and environment with the odds stacked against them.

Who said you have to have world class players to win a major international competition? If you were really controversial you could possibly think that motivation and team spirit is more important.
