Well as you have to finish top of the group to qualify - there is a lot of work to be done. Second place and you take your chances in a play off.....

I reckon Croatia are one of the easier 'seeds' to be drawn against though...
I'd rather England had to finish above them than Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Holland...
If we get a decent manager in we should qualify no bother... got to be Mourinho.

In terms of qualifying this is about as good as it could have been.

Croatia - we should have stuffed them. Man for man (in terms of talent at least) we are way ahead of them. In terms of guts far behind them.

Ukraine - awful awful place. I once went to Kiev and very much wished I hadn't

Belarus - one of those Baltic states places which are full of 70's Russian concrete flats.

Kazakhstan - stand by for thousands of Borat jokes.

Andorra - Horden reserves.
